I am frequently asked: "When is the book coming out?" But, since no publishers
have been forthcoming, I've decided to self-publish with an electronic hard-copy version.
For those who would wish a hard copy, I make the site available on a CD on an
as-requested basis. This is a CD - not a DVD - and will only play on
your computer. It does have some distinct advantages - primarily speed.
The loading is nearly instantaneous. If you want to look something up in a hurry,
this is the way to go - pictures and all.
It's especially good for anyone in areas where high-speed DSL is not available, now that
the website has grown so large.
And then, too - should anything ever happen to "Papa Ted's Place,
" it will
continue exist in places.
Of course, it will not update with the live site, but you will get the complete site
up to the date nearest your order. For this reason I recommend ordering in
JANUARY or Ferbruary. That way, you get the complete preceeding year. All the big
stuff happens in December and January.
This isn't mass-production; it's by request.
A friend makes them one-off copies. I don't possess the equipment.
The price is $18 plus $2 shipping and packaging.
